So many people these days are ignorant of the act that our world is changing, and not in a good way. We don’t seem to care that certain biomes, such as the Arctic, are shrinking due to the fact that greenhouse gases are escaping. Some areas, specifically in California, are going through major droughts. According to a NASA website, “Humans are largely responsible for recent climate change. The majority of greenhouse gases come from burning fossil fuels o produce energy, although deforestation , industrial processes, and some agricultural practices also emit gases into the atmosphere.” These gases cause the earth to warm, which can harm ecosystems and animal species. Not only that, but global warming can affect all aspects of our daily lives, even our health! Is this really the world we want our children to grow up in? It’s about time someone made a change in this world. Why not YOU?
