Hopefully by now you’ve had the chance to pick up one of the most trilling novels known to Mankind called THE HUNGER GAMES!!! The author of this book, Suzanne Collins, takes on a journey in a dystopian future, dealing with the most violent game with a fight to the death. The Protagonist Katniss must save her loved ones and save the future for everyone in all three books in the trilogy. The 3 books Suzanne Collins made are the most electrifying, intriguing, breathtaking, eye-popping, and appealing books you will ever set your eyes on.

Due to the amazingness of these books, the company Lionsgate knew that these books would make great movies because of the awesome plot, and it’s growing popularity. They started making the first movie in 2012 based off the first book. They included some amazing stars in this film like Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, etc. The movie, as predicted, made tons of money. They earned overall opening night in theaters over 150 million dollars! Gary Ross had directed the first movie, while Francis Lawrence had directed the last 3 movies of the series. The 2nd and 3rd movies, Catching Fire and Mockingjay part 1, had been a big success with some new rising stars like Jenna Malone, Sam Claflin, Julianne Moore, and so on.

On November 20th, 2015, The final Movie, Mockingjay Part 2 was released into theaters. This movie was considered to most people one of the best out of them all. It was filled with tons of action that was Perfectly placed into this movie to make a great ending in such an amazing set of Books.

A lot of the stars from the movies are great friends and are still staying connected with each other, even though they’ve moved on into different movies/sets. One of the biggest friendships on set were between Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth. They love doing interviews together and talk about how they miss being on set filming these awesome movies. Jennifer Lawrence, Who played Katniss, has moved on to a new movie called “Joy”. She had won a Golden Globe with her character Joy Mangano, and is considered one of America’s best actress. Liam Hemsworth, who played as the character Gale, has gotten engaged with pop singer Miley Cyrus, and is starting to get involved with other movies. Lastly, Josh Hutcherson, who played Peeta, is planning to play in a movie later on in his life.

Now that you have a little more knowledge about what’s going on with these movies, let’s talk business! Everyone always compares the books to their movies about which one is better. All the book lovers out there will always say the book, but if you don’t find time to actually read, you’ll never understand the struggle of trying to find a movie that’s better than the books!!!

The hunger games books are known for their well-written and intriguing endings of each book, craving for you to want more.Of course, Katniss and Peeta eventually get together, leaving poor Gale behind in the past. Suzanne Collins mentions in the epilogue that the couples do eventually have kids farther into the future. This ending in my opinion was for the Best. Yes, Gale didn’t mean to drop a bomb on Prim and was Katniss’ best friend, but he doesn’t understand what Katniss has gone through! Peeta can relate to Katniss since they went through two Hunger games together. Gale will never know the wrath of the arena that scarred Katniss for life. Katniss and Peeta both understand what they have gone through and help each other cope through their problems. This has been one of the most controversial topics in the world, and will probably stay that way for a long time.

Overall, The hunger games is a well written book that should never be overlooked. If you still haven’t yet, go to your local library or bookstore to get a copy of The Hunger Games series. May the odds be ever in your Favor!
